What happens after I order my mattress?
Let us tell you the exciting process of shipping, for those that would love to know! Once Bill’s Bed receives an order, it triggers the process of preparing to ship. Firstly an email is sent to the customer to thank them and to confirming the order has been received. A shipping quote is prepared automatically within the system to choose the most efficient carrier based on the geographical location of the customer. Some couriers are more efficient in certain regions and lead times can vary greatly within the country. A carrier is selected based on these criteria and a pickup notice is sent to the carrier of choice. At this time a tracking number is produced and is shared with the customer through email. The order is picked up at out from our warehouse and delivered to the customer is a couple of business days. We ship from the GTA and a typical delivery into the GTA is one or two business days after pick up. Outside of the GTA and the rest of Canada is anywhere between 3 to 5 business days.
And voila! The customer receives updated emails to keep them informed of their order.
